Exploring the interface of liver biology, immunology and engineering.
I am a postdoctoral researcher working at the intersection of immunology, microfluidics, liver-on-a-chip engineering, decellularized liver matrix–based nanomedicine for drug delivery, translational bioengineering, and cold atmospheric plasma as a tumor microenvironment immunomodulator. My work integrates human-relevant disease models, biomaterials, and immune profiling to investigate liver injury, regeneration, and therapeutic responses.
My expertise has been shaped through both PhD and postdoctoral training, encompassing viral pathogenesis, host–virus interactions, immunology and microbiology, chronic inflammation, mucosal malignancies, immuno-oncology, and unconventional T cell (MAIT and iNKT) biology.
